Clean and reliable power is critical to hosting operations, which is why we’ve invested in the latest technology to ensure 100% availability. Combining utility and backup generation, we are able to offer full resilience on power feed to the data centres and BC suites.

Air Conditioning

NetSupport's DR facility provides the optimum environment for both your workforce and your mission-critical servers.

All Suites and Data Centres are fully climate controlled, integrated within our backup power supply grid to guarantee a constant temperature 365 days a year and offering control for continuous temperatures and the latest in fresh air circulation.

Back Up Generators

One of the key requirements of a successful disaster recovery plan is to secure its operational status in the event of a more localised disaster, such as a break in the mains power supply to the area.  With this in mind the NetSupport DR facility features fully independent backup power supplies.

The Centre has three 125kVA Perkins turbo-charged diesel generators, with full auto start and remote auto transfer integration, which will activate the systems within 15 seconds of a network power failure.

The entire system has full mechanical governing to BS5514A specifications.  Each generator has a 350 litre internal fuel reserve and is supported by an additional 1500 litre reserve tank, ensuring independent and continuous operation for a minimum of 12 days prior to re-fuelling.
